KRC is hiring a summer 2025 intern for our Kentucky Environmental Accountability Project. Our newest program combines meaningful citizen participation, science-backed information, and technical and legal expertise to ensure that Kentucky’s environmental decisions better protect public health, the environment, and our climate. Through KEAP, we are developing resources to empower communities to engage effectively in environmental decision-making and advocating for more stringent controls and accountability mechanisms in permit decisions.

To apply, please email a cover letter, resume, and either an (unofficial) transcript or a list of relevant environmental, property, energy, and administrative law classes to hello@kyrc.org. The deadline to apply is March 15, 2025. Additional volunteer opportunities may also be available.

Although this position is unpaid, we will assist with accessing summer stipends and other funding opportunities. KRC maintains a virtual office, although some in-person meetings may be required.
