We're nearing the end of the legislative session and KRC's Legislative Update: The Penultimate Edition is available here: https://loom.ly/gUi97do. Learn where key bills stand as Kentucky legislators break for the veto period until April 12. During the veto break, the Governor will consider bills and resolutions passed to date and will sign them, allow them to become law without his signature, or veto the bills. On April 12 and 15, the General Assembly will consider whether to override any vetoes by the Governor, but can also pass other bills and resolutions before adjourning April 15 for the year, unless called into special session. A veto of bills passed initially on either April 12 or 15 will stand and cannot be overridden.
